Dr. Urs Koeing
Military Peacekeeping Commander
Urs has 18+ years of executive coaching experience across three continents. He has coached 250+ individual leaders and dozens of leadership teams including as Chairman for Vistage International. He has been an assistant professor and research fellow at the University of Zurich, Switzerland and the Australian National University, Canberra, Australia, as well as Adjunct Professor at Seattle University. During his time in academia, he published more than 25 original, peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters and presented at more than 30 conferences across the globe. Urs has been a highly acclaimed ultra-endurance athlete for the best part of 30 years. He has earned countless titles, medals, and top rankings in long-distance endurance events including ultra-marathons, adventure races and ultra-cycling events. In 2017, Urs served as a Commander of Military Peacekeepers in the NATO mission in Kosovo, former Yugoslavia, where he quickly became a highly trusted, key member of the senior leadership team. Urs’ background also includes management consulting roles for the global firm A.T. Kearney/EDS and turn-around positions in the financial services industry. Urs holds an MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management, Sydney, Australia, as well as a PhD and Master of Science from the University of Zurich, Switzerland. Furthermore, he has various certifications and accreditations from recognized global executive coaching organizations.
